FEATURE: Minorities, Poor People, Lesbians, and Women’s Colleges

A controversial letter sent to the Smith College newspaper, The Sophian, called into question the effects of a diverse student body on the college’s prestige.    Smith College blogger JM and Mount Holyoke Blogger XX have each responded to the letter with their takes on the “issues” Ms Anne Spurzem brings to light.

EDIT: Cal Poly Pomona blogger BP was kind enough to “transcribe” the letter, as it is no longer officially exists on The Sophian website.  Thanks, BP.
