Update III: Revamp

It’s been a few months since the test stages of the site, and what you see in front of you in your browser are the end results.  Thanks to everyone who emailed me their thoughts on how to make the site kickass.  I’m always open to suggestions.  Now onto the bigger challenge of finding student bloggers…

If you like writing and you go to college, you should blog about your school.  You’ll get a chapter page especially for your college, kind of like how HerCampus does it, and full creative liberty to write whatever you want about your school.  (**Within reason, of course.  See the Rules for specifications.)  There’s even a nifty Topics page if bloggers want a prompt.  You get to waste time by doing something productive.  So it’s really not wasting time, right?  Become a blogger.

EDIT: Oh, and if you already see your school represented, don’t be afraid to apply to be a blogger. Chapters can have more than one blogger. It’s ideal, in fact.

Tumblr
If you came from Tumblr, most likely, I personally found your blog and followed you in hopes that you would check out The Campus Connection, like what you saw, and decide that you want to blog.  If you don’t like what you see or if you don’t think you have enough time to blog, simply following me on tumblr to keep TCC on your radar is good enough for me too.

If you’re interested in blogging and already have relevant college posts on your Tumblr, you are more than welcome to reuse what you’ve already written.  If you’re not interested in continually blogging but still have a few posts on your Tumblr that you’d like to contribute, shoot me an email and I’ll still create a school page for you.  The more the merrier.

Twitter
If you came from Twitter, I’m just taking a shot in the dark that you might be interested in blogging.  If you have time for social media, I assume that you have time to blog as well.  If you don’t want to blog, the least you can do is follow The Campus Connection on Twitter for updates and make the site look important.  Maybe we can persuade you to blog later.  I’m persistent.

On top of being persistent, I also really like gifs.  Here’s a gif of a dog in a panda costume. Happy surfing.

Be the first to like.
